Easy DIY Harry Potter Toddler Costume

Halloween is a little over two weeks away and I’m so excited to share with you my second no-sew DIY costume! If you know me, you know that I’m obsessed with all things Harry Potter. I own all of the novels and movies, my wifi name is “Chamber of Secrets”, I even flew to another state just to attend a “Harry Potter Bar Crawl” (true story haha). We even found a way to incorporate Harry Potter into Nori’s 9 month milestone photos. If you didn’t get a chance to see those, grab some tissues and scroll below:

This year I wanted to recreate a less “traditional” Harry Potter look. After digging around in Nori’s closest and spending some time on Amazon, I was able to transform her into a fashionable mini wizard! I love that this isn’t your “typical” Harry Potter costume which involves a robe. The tutu adds an adorable touch while still incorporating several key pieces like Harry’s wand, glasses, scarf and Nimbus 2000!

While shooting these photos, I couldn’t stop laughing at how much Nori got into character. From her attempting to “fly” the broom to yelling out the spells, I think it’s safe to say she fully enjoyed this look!

Below I share everything you’ll need to recreate this costume. I’ve included links to the exact items she’s wearing, along with cheaper dupes as well!

Accio!

What you’ll need:

That’s it! Piece all of the items together and your little one will officially be ready for Hogwarts! If you decide to try out this DIY, be sure to tag me on Instagram or use the hashtag #BrookeADIYs!

P.S. This probably won’t be the last Harry Potter look you see on my blog. I can foresee family costumes in the near future! ✨

Happy Halloween!

Xo,
Brooke
